It has been quite a while since I wrote anything featuring Kaa, the snake that probably introduced a boatload of people to hypnosis and its appeal. Since there's a new Jungle Book movie in theaters (one that is supposedly quite good, if what I hear is true), I felt that it might be the right time to go on and do yet another rendition of his many encounters, albeit with a twist.

One of the reasons why I also wrote this is because of a particularly neat comic commissioned by , one in which an Egyptian-themed super-villainess turns the table on the sly snake. It's a simple, yet incredibly effective comic that inspired me to write a short, simple, yet also effective story featuring some of the themes long-since associated with this account. Yes, there is belly dancing in this one.
